Hitachi Energy, facility in Chennai aims to foster collaboration towards sustainable,flexible and secure energy systems in India & around the world.Hitachi Energy's Global Technology & Innovation Center is spread over 3,00,000 Sq.ft with nearly 50,000 Sq.ft of dedicated Lab space.This facility will house over 2,500 energy transition technologists with Post Doctorate,Doctorate and PG degrees specializing in Grid automation,Transformers, high-voltage and grid integration.
Hitachi Energy & Global Technology & Innovation Center was inaugurated by Thiru.M.K.Stalin,Chief Minister of Tamilnadu. Thiru.Dr.T.R.B.Rajaa,Minister of Industries,Tamilnadu,Mr.Claudio Facchin,CEO,Hitachi Energy,& Mr.N.Venu,Managing Director & CEO,India & South Asia,Hitachi Energy, Thiru,V.Arun Roy,Secretary to Government Industries & Investment Promotion & Commerce Department & Thiru.V.Vishnu, were present on the occasion.
