MAGNET HOSPITALS UNVEIL " GOLDEN HOUR RECOGNITION" AHEAD OF EMERGENCY NURSES DAY.

Magnet Hospitals, a doctor-led hospital network  announced the Golden Hour Recognition, a campaign that spotlights the life saving impact of the first sixty minutes after a medical emergency. To commemorate the Emergency Nurses Day,the event brought together nurses & doctors to tell the story of the decisions, judgement calls and split second actions that separate crisis from recovery. The event was graced by accomplished clinicians & Dr.Kamini Rao (pioneer in assisted fertilization) and Dr.Venkataramana (astute paediatric neuro surgeon). Every emergency is different, whether a stroke,a cardiac arrest or a trauma case, but every nurse who handles such emergency is united by one instinct ; act fast, stay calm, get it right within the hour. Emergency nurses are usually the first clinical contact a patient has.

Usually, the work of the emergency nurses often goes unseen, & hence the Emergency Nurses Day to recognise their expertise, their devotion, dedication & application to different emergency situations. The nurses at Magnet hospitals said, " The Golden Hour is Real. The first 60 minutes can mean the difference between life & Death".
