METROS BREATHING HEAVY.......IS IT SAFE?
Quality of Air in Metros has become the hottest topics in all the discussions.
More so of late ,people are concerned the quality of air they are breathing

Indian Society of Heating,Refrigerating & Air Conditioning Engineers (ISHRAE)
has brought a standard on Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ).This is the
first ever Indian standard on IEQ.Research has shown that poor indoor
environmental quality can have short & long term Health effects.IEQ has an
impact on health,comfort & safety,which in turn affects the productivity of the
occupants of the buildings.
This standard identifies ,thermal quality,indoor air quality,lighting comfort &
acoustic comfort as Four critical elements of IEQ.Each of these elements have
been covered by defining their threshold levels of IEQ parameters.
