Humid & damp weather often takes toll on the skin. Staying hydrated during
monsoon is important.Monsoon is the time, when we donot feel thirsty, hence
our intake of water is reduced. It is also important to maintain a healthy diet.
Cleaning fruits & vegetables are essential.A good diet coupled with a healthy
lifestyle is good for the skin.
Bathing twice a day will also help in keeping the infections at bay.
In the rainy season, one should avoid going in for bleaching &deep skin
cleansing facials. They may absorb more of the dust floating in the air,
resulting in acne as the pores in the skin donot respond well during the
rainy season.
Use soap free cleansers for the face & mild scrub for the body.
Apply moisturizer to the whole body immediately after the bath to
retain the thin film of moisture on the skin.
