Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation
(MATRADE) will be showcasing Malaysia by organising an Exhibition at Bangalore International Exhibition Centre from 29th May to 31st May 2014.
Addressing the media, Mr.Abu Bakar Koyakutty,MATRADE's
Director of Trade & Services Promotion Division said, "India has been Malaysia's largest trading partner & export destination in the South Asia Region.Bengaluru has become a preferred location for the 3 day exhibition due to its
rapid industrial development and the fact that it is the fastest growing metropolis in India".
Malaysian companies are seeking for business linkages in automotive batteries,auto part and componenets,logistic tankers and trucks and textile printing machineries.In addition, furniture,cosmetics,disposable medical equipment, various pack food products,natural biodegradable polymer,soap needles and biotechnology services for agriculture will be
exhibited at the exhibition.
Malaysia is the 10th largest trading partner of India.India imported Palmolein worth
US$ 2.4 Billion from Malaysia which constitutes about 25% of our imports from
Malaysia.
Till now,184 Indian Companies have registered for business matching.
