IMTEX 2014 offers synergy between machine Tool manufacturers & manufacturing
Stakeholders.The exhibition promises to showcase comtemporary innovations
ranging from the most efficient and advanced machineries.IMTEX also provides
platform for regional players to go pan India.It also helps SME's to showcase their
products & its range.
It is expected that the exhibition will attract 45,000 visitors which may result in
business enquiries amounting to around Rs.2800 crores.Leading countries who
are in big way in manufacturing will participate.
About the Machine Tool industry:
Globally: India ranks 6th in consumption & 13 th in production.We are importing
about 65% of our requirement of machinery.With the rupee weakening against the
dollar, it is expected that the imports may drop by 20%.The industry estimates that
the domestic production may increase to 50%in 5 years.
