VIJAYA BANK was established on 23rd october,1931 on Vijaya Dasami day.The bank has reached several milestones for the last 83 years.The bank now has 1460 branches and about 1000 ATM's and a total business of Rs.1,75,000 crores.The bank was started by Shri.Attavara Balakrishna Shetty, a visionary and further strengthened by Shri.Mulki Sunder Ram Shetty who took the bank to the modern banking path.Glowing tributes were paid to both by the Chairman & Managing Director,Mr.H.S.Kamath & Mr.K.R.Shenoy,Executive Director of the bank.
As part of the celebration,renowned personalities were honoured. They
