KARNATAKA SET TO BE LEADER IN FOOD PROCESSING INDUSTRY.

Karnataka is set to give fillip to Food processing sector. This was disclosed by Mr.Murugesh Nirani,Minister for large & Medium Industries Government of Karnataka while addressing the conference on linking Growth drivers of Processing Industries,organised by ASSOCHAM.The Minister said that the state government's commitment to agriculture was reflected in the fact that the state government has decided to have a separate Budget for agriculture.He said that  the food processing industry  is vital for increasing the income of farmers.
