Mazumdar shaw cancer Institute has launched a month long awareness campaign in Bangalore last week.This campaign offer women free screening at the hospital during the period. " we are also looking at PPP model tie up with Primay health centres so that we can spread the message" says Kiran.Prof.Anthony Pais,Oncoplastic breast surgeon attributed the rising number of breast cancer cases to the life style and also late pregnancy and shorter lactation period.
