Amrita School of  Spiritual and Cultural studies ,Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetam has organised the its Sixth batch of the Online course "Essence of Hinduism".The four week self paced On line certification course will cover the foundations of Sanatana Dharma. the Students can access all course materials including video,reading materials and recording of live sessions. AN ADAPTATION OF THE JUNGLE BOOK BY THE STUDENTS OF THE GREEN SCHOOL,BANGALORE (TGSB).

A Green themed theatrical performance - an adaptation of The Jungle Book by students of The Green School Bangalore in Whitefield (TGSB)  in the school Campus on February,11th.The performance is based on the classic story of all -time favourite Mowgli in the Jungle which promises to be an enthralling one for people of all age groups.Directed by the super talented international celebrity artist Dr.Ashley Williams,the theatrical performance will showcase the talent of the TGSB students in the field of dramatics.

UJJIVAN SMALL FINANCE BANK LAUNCHES "HELLO UJJIVAN"-INDIA'S FIRST VOICE,VISUAL,VERNACULAR BANKING APP.

Ujjivan Small Finance Bank launched "Hello Ujjivan",India's first mobile banking application with 3V's-Voice,Visual & Vernacular enabled features to provide banking access to individuals who have limited reading and writing skills. The app is designed to instil banking habits to our micro banking and rural customers who are digitally challenged.

Hello Ujjivan App is accessible by voice in eight regional languages including Hindi,Marathi, Bengali,Tamil,Guarati,Kannada,Oriya & Assamese. Customers can speak to the app in their native language to perform banking transactions and access services such as paying loan EMI's,opening FD & RD accounts,transferring funds,checking account balance & updating pass books among other services.

BHARAT FRITZ WERNER TO EXPAND MANUFACTURING FACILITY.

 Bharat Fritz Werner (BFW), a leading Indian advanced manufacturing solutions Company,announced its plan to scale up three fold from its current annual capacityof 3000 machines to 10,000 machines by steting up a new state-of-the-art facility in Hosur,Tamilnadu. The Company has committed a substantial investment in three phases for a plant with a 60,000 sq.meter built up area over a land of more than 50 acres.The announcement was made at the IMTEX 2023,South East Asea's biggest exhibition on machine tools and manufacturing technologies at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC).BFW's facilities will include net carbon zero class assembly plant with the conveyorised  assembly of machines.As part of the expansion plan,BFW has collaborated with Adroitec India to propagate these solutions across the country.

SAKRA HOSPITAL BENGALURU DOES NEURO-REHABILITATION OF 36 YEAR OLD WITH SEVERE HEAD INJURY .

 36 year old Mr.Pravin Raj Radha  met with fatal accident in the US after he fell from his bicycle in May 2022,he suffered severe brain,facial and eye injuries which resulted in leaving him at a comatose state and losing all hopes of his survival.His condition was treated immediately in one of the top Hospitals in the US.He was undergoing intensive care where the US doctors estimated less than 1% chance of survival.Despite being in a ventilator in the ICU for 3 to 4 weeks, Pravin's health never improved.Rather than giving up ,he was flown carefully to India by chartered flight with ICU team & equipment.After consulting in other hospitals,Pravin was referred to Dr.Maheshwarappa,B.M,Head & Senior Consultant for Neuro Rehabilitation at Sakra World Hospital,one of the top hospitals in Bengaluru. He immediately  assessed Pravin's Complex traumatic brain injury,severity of disability and medical challenges,loss of cognitive and behavioural skills  and immobility.Following his recommendations for rigorous and comprehensive neuro rehabilitation using advanced technologies, a miraculous recovery and successful discharge took place five months later. 

Pravin was treated by a team of specialists  at Sakra Neuro Rehabilitation consisting of professionals included Physiatrists,neuro-Physiotherapists,Occupational therapists,clinical Nutritionist,specialised Rehabilitation nurses,clinical Orthotists and Neuropsychologists.

Dr.Maheshwarappa said," Neurorehabilitation plays a significant role in the healing process of those who have suffered traumatic brain injuries.Pravin was brought to us in the most challenging situation". Pravin was successfully discharged in December,2022. He and his wife were present in the Press Meet & they thanked Dr.Mahewshwarappa and his team for their excellent job. ' It is no less than a miracle that Pravin is up on his feet,and we are hopeful that he will resume his work soon' says Pravin's wife.

 A 500 LMP Oxygen Plant was inaugurated at Shri Abhinava Vidyathirtha Multi Speciality Hospital of Shri Jagadguru Shankaracharya Dakshininamnaya Sringeri Sharada Peetam at Sringeri, Chikamagaluru ,Karnataka in the presence of His Holiness Jagadguru Sri Sri Vidhusekhara Bharati,Mahaswamiji & other dignitaries.The Oxygen plant is set up under the CSR initiative of Caterpillar Foundation,Assist International and NGO partner United Way,Bengaluru.

This will help the hospital to cater to the needs of 50,000 community members from 64 villages and cities like Chikamagaluru and Shimoga. Besides, Sri Abhinava Vidyathirtha Multispeciality Hospital,Oxygen plants have been set up in three other hospitals - Rabakavi Banahatti General Hospital & General Hospital in Bagalkot district  and Sindagi Taluk General Hospital in Vijayapura District . The three hospitals cater to a population of 64,000,1,40,000 & 4,50,000 respectively.Each of these plants have 500 LPM capacity and is already functional.
