11th EDITION OF YOUG CHEF OLYMPIAD TO BE HELD UNDER THE AEGIS OF INTERNATIONAL INSTITUTE OF HOTEL MANAGEMENT (IIHM) & INTERNATIONAL HOSPITALITY COUNCIL.

The Young chef Olympiad -YCO held by IIHM-International Hospitality Council brings together young chefs from 50 countries for a week long competetive bonding over food in a spirit of solidarity & friendship.YCO Founder Dr.Suborno Bose will launch his pathbreaking book on AI in hospitality & Tourism at this 11th edition of YCO. 11th edition of the Young chef Olympiad will be held under the aegis of International Institute of Hotel Management (IIHM)  in partnership with the International Hospitality Council (IHC),London.The young Chef Olympians -student chefs from 50 countries will undertake Two rounds of culinary challenges ,to attempt to win,the coveted YCO 2025 Golden Toque.

Speaking to journalists across India on a video conference before this global event,Dr. Suborno Bose,Chairman,International Hospitality Council & Founder YCO, & Chairman IIHM said,"Through the course of 11 years,the Young chef Olympiad,has grown from strength to strength & has taken on many worthy causes starting from unity in diversity  to the UN Sustainability Development Goals and to the promotion of millets.This year we will secure th future of hospitality & hospitality education to make AI which we call Advanced Intelligence to help tourism & hospitality do more for people with enhanced human touch.The immersive experience of the Olympiad, will dismantle barriers & cultivate an environment where dialogue flourishes & friendship blossoms".


The Competition rounds will start at the IIHM campus kitchens from feb,3 in Goa, & from Feb,4 in Delhi,Pune,Hyderabad & Bengaluru.The top 10 Young chef Olympians as per the scores of the two rounds will compete in the grand finale of YCO 2025 i Kolkata on February,8,2025 There is also the Plate trophy and the Dr.Suborno Bose culinary International Challenge prize up for grabs.Each trophy, in this global platform,is bound to embellish the careers of young chefs & validate their skills.On february,4,Bengaluru will host students from Romania,Malaysia,South Africa,Namibia  Maldives,Bhutan,Equadorial Guinea,Switzerland,Northern Islands & Iran. The Bengaluru event will be sponsored by Ariane Porcelain,Brigade Hospitality,Mc cain Foods,Incredible India- Ministry of Tourism & Yuva Tourism Bangalore chapter & Delphis.


As in previous years,Padma Shri,Chef  Sanjiv Kapoor  will be the principal Judge & Mentor for YCO 2025,while Prof,David Foskett OBE,the legendary hospitality educator & author is the Chairman of the jury.The judging panel includes internationally acclaimed celebrity  chef judges including Chief judge Chef John Wood,a Michelin Star Chef & Founder of Kitchen CUT.

TINKERFEST 2.0 TURNS IDEAS INTO ACTION AT CHAMAN BHARTIYA SCHOOL .

Chaman  Bhartiya School Came alive with energy & innovation as it hosted Tinkerfest 2.0 ,a one-day hands on learning festival ignited curiosity & empowered the next generation of thinkers & problem solvers. it provided an interactive platform for students to explore,experiment and showcase their creativity through engaging & thought provoking activities. The event saw over 300 attendees,including students parents,educators,influential community leaders and industry profesionals all gathered to celebrate creativity, technology and entrepreunerial spirit.The campus situated in the sprawling urban-living space of Bhartiya City,buzzed with excitement with students,parents,faculty and distinguised guests came together to honour the school's journey of excellence & leadership.The highlight of the event was the unveiling of newly installed bust of Late Shri.Chaman Aggarwal ,Founder & Chairman of the Bhartiya Group. The bust was unveiled by Mr.Snehdeep Aggarwal as a tribute to his father & to inspire the future generations to become visionary leaders. He said," Schools last for generations,and at Chaman Bhartiya School,we teach values that stay for ever.We want our students to be brave,make mistakes and learn from them. Leadership is about taking risks,and we encourage our students to be the unique 2% in the world who create change & make new worlds. Tinkerfest 2.0 also opened its doors to 140 students from 24 schools  across Karnataka,Tamilnadu  & Kerala.The  students presented innovative business models &  Shark Tank-style competition stole the show. Principal Ms.Geeta Jayanth, addressing the audience  remarked." Tinkerfest 2.0 reflects our commitment to nurturing creativity & innovation among students.
Key Highlights of the Festival :
1.Lego League : The teams built innovative solutions with lego bricks to solve real world problemsthrough robotics & Innovative thinking.
2.Sumo Robot challenge. 3. Hackathon- Challenged students to develop tech based solutions to real world problems.4. Shark Tank : where students pitched innovative business ideas to a panel of judges. & Drone race.

Adding to the excitement,the audience was treated to a spectacular display of drone acrobatics.The School recently received their International Baccalaureate authorisation.Chaman Bhartiya School's philosophy  is rooted in the belief that education is not just about imparting knowledge,but about nurturing the potential within each student to become a leader,a critical thinker,and a compassionate global citizen.
