National Restaurant Association of India (NRAI) released their NRAI India Food Services Report-2019.As per the report,the estimated Food Service market in Bengaluru is Rs.20,014 crores which is Third highest among metros in India.The average spend per month per household on eating out in Bengaluru is Rs.3586/- which is higher than the national average of Rs.2500/-. The NRAI IFSR 2019 estimates overall Indian Food service Industry's market size is at Rs.4,23,865 crores which is expected to grow at CAGR of 9% to reach Rs.5,99,782 crores by 2022-23.It is the largest industry after Retail & Insurance.
