MANCHESTER CITY AND JAIN SPORTS LAUNCH NEW FOOTBALL SCHOOL IN INDIA.

 Manchester City and Jain Sports announced launch of new Manchester City football School at Jain  Sports,Jain Global campus,owned by the JGI Group, one of India's leading educators. The launch represents the first step in Jain Sports' journey,bringing a globally recognised football education programme into its high performance eco system.This collaboration will deliver a world class football education programme that combines Manchester City's renowned playing philosophy with JAIN's commitment to nurturing India's emerging sports talent through high quality coaching,academic excellence,state of the art infrastructure and holistic student-ahtlete development.


The football school will provide students at JAIN access to high quality coaching and training methodologies that have contributed the Manchester City's success in English,European and global competitions.The programme is designed to nurture young players both on and off the pitch  emphasising technical development,teamwork,leadership and academic balance. ADVANCED ROBOTIC TECHNOLOGY ENABLES COMPLEX DOUBLE VALVE REPLACEMENT FOR 53 YEAR OLD WOMAN AT APOLLO HOSPITALS,BENGALURU.

Doctors at Apollo Hospitals,Bengaluru have achieved a major medical  milestone by successfully performing a rare and highly complex robotic double valve repalcement using the latest generation Da Vinci Xi surgical system.This achievement places Apollo among the very few centres in India to execute this procedure in the modern era of advanced robotic cardiac surgery.The procedure was led by Dr. Sathyaki Nambala,renowned cardiac surgeon & Chief of Robotic Cardiac surgery at Apollo Hospitals,Bengaluru.This landmark surgery marks a significant advancement in bringing complex multi-valve replacement into the domain of minimally invasive,robotic assisted cardiac care in India.

The patient, is a 53 year old woman,with severe destruction of both the aortic and mitral valves due to infective endocarditis  & also suffered from multiple  comorbitidies including  rheumatoid arthritis,obesity,thyroid dysfunction and a prior stroke, making her a high risk candidate for conventional open heart surgery.The entire surgery was completed through small key hole incisions,without the need for a midline sternotomy. The patient was extubated & mobilised within 12 hours,transferred to the ward shortly thereafter, and discharged on the third postoperative day.At her one week followup,she remained asymptomatic and in good health,highlighting the safety,precision and patient centric avantages of robotic cardiac surgery even in high risk cases.


The other doctor in the team is  Dr.Girish b Navasundi,Director, Cath Lab & Senior Consultant- Cardiology,Apollo Hospitals,Bengaluru   among few other doctors.He said," This procedure ensures reduced surgical trauma,minimal blood loss and faster recovery for patients".
