THE PURPLE RUN 2018-FOR THE CAUSE OF ALZHEIMER
ACROSS 7 MALLS AND 6 CITIES ON 30th SEPTEMBER,2018.
HOSTED BY THE FORUM- PRESTIGE GROUP.
The FORUM is hosting The Purple Run,for creating awareness regarding
Alzheimer,along with NIMHANS on 30th September,2018.Alzheimer's is
the most common form of Dimentia,the 5th leading cause of death in people
over 55 years of age in India.More than 4 million people suffer from various
forms of this illness.Despite this,there is a stigma attached to mental illnesses
amongst us.
The purple run offers 4 categories of running distances-3kms(family Run),
5kms,10kms and the half marathon distance 21kms giving each participant
an opportunity to run in their comfort zone.There are cach prizes for over
Rs.17 lacs and gift hampers to be won.
To Participate, register with nominal registration fee & a part of the proceeds
will go to NIMHANS towards treatment and research for Alzheimer's.For
